This update is solely about me and how to 'find' me. Mainly for ppl I used to know (i.e. from IRC period), but anyone is welcome to find me *U*.

Net Spaces I occupy/occupied online: the WHERE:

1. Xanga: has been deleted and purged.

2. Fanfiction.net: still active, but I don't write much anymore mostly due to lack of skill and time.

3. Facebook: active but it's too public for me so I don't like to reply... (you can find me under 'Lucia Wang' )

Major problem with FB: If I reply to one thing I have to reply to EVERYTHING T_T.

4. MSN: I utterly fail at this, and like to think of it as, if you're important we should email each other or telephone directly. None of this '-icic, lol, and every second line-' responses...

5. Livejournal: this is where I lurk, mostly in fandom and meta. Actually, LJ is the main reason for this entry. I've been on LJ for years now, as an invisible lurker commenting on other ppl's entries without friend-ing anyone, but I think that's going to change soon since I've got a fairly scheduled work life now, that relies, needs LJ to help me wind-down. However, my LJ life is very very separate from the netID 'lutzie' (and actually, real-life nickname) that I've used for so many years. Therefore, I'll not be disclosing a link needlessly.

6. Something I want to work on in the future, because I'm such an advent fan of new music -any type of new and wonderful music: lastfm. I think I'll be starting up an mp3 rotation site again, I've always always wanted to be able to maintain one of those.

Next, I'd like to update everyone on WHO I am exactly:
Maybe some of you have forgotten, yes? It has been a long time *n*.

A year ago, May 2008, I graduated from Queen's University in Ontario, Canada, with a Bachelors of Science, Honours, Major in Biology.

And now I'm in Banking (have been for a little more than half a year). The switch was refreshing and meaningful: I love plants, evolutionary and ethnic uses of bio, but seriously life must be practical. Banking/finance/the way of cash is what ultimately runs my world. Money can't buy happiness but money sure can enhance not-bought happiness. *I hope I don't sound too shallow.* Thus, I find the corporate world of banking to be much more enjoyable and motivating of an area to dissect and understand. That's not to say that I love banking. Give it about 3 years, I'll be moving on. I just know it. I'm a let's keep moving forwards and seeing new new new things type of girl and it's really what makes the best of me. Or so I'd like to believe

My obsessions: this is what makes me. I LOVE obsessing. It not only gives me something to do but teaches me endless little details of bits and pieces of everything that I may otherwise never have come across. First and foremost, contrary to popular belief, I highly promote and insist that fangirl-ing is healthy and productive. Serious. It makes things interesting. I'll just list a few things that I fan and you can decided if we can be friends (if you know not the abbreviations, needless to say we are not mutual fans of said abbreviation XD): Music/JE (AKAME), MANGA (DGM, BLEACH, ONE PIECE), Movies (Matrix, LOTR, PotC, TFatF). Meta Meta Meta: ex. why do we slash? I am Oh, so interested. If I fan, I do research like a rabid-scientist: the history of AKAME? Uncovered in approximately 1 month of solid 'community-sifting' as I like to call it. In any case, for those of you who are still reading, I applaud, because this is a very important part of me. *i.e. thank you for putting up with my crack.*

Back to My Real Life: I don't LOOK it and I hardly SEEM it from all the loner/nerdy shit that I just spouted off in the previous paragraph, but Lucia Wang ADORES the outdoors. I am as much a fanatic of AKAME as I am of camping. I LOVE camping, swimming in lakes, oceans, what have you; lying in parks, a nice big hat, sun-dress and sun-glasses, it's an amazing feeling; walks along False Creek, dreamy; a book in the garden, cherry blossoms at Burrard Station, and the other side of the seasons (because this has become such spring/summer happy); Winter: snowy mountains, ski/board/ROLL down the mountain, I care not, just let me be there, watch the lights, feel the cold chilling but oh, so refreshing breeze; autumn: so simplistically beautiful: Vancouver: shed the year's layers from your branches and let them be as sad memories crunch and disappear beneath our feet... come summer, I'll be windows open, music resonating down the halls and out the house...

I feel breathless and I haven't even talked. *pause/break/let you catch up?*

Wow... I'm sure I hadn't meant to ...share... so much, but that is me, in a nutshell. And I love life~. So come find me if you want to be friends.
